The Essay Topic You Need to Know
The Essay Topic You Need to KnowIf you're considering writing a socio economic essay, you've come to the right place. What follows is a brief discussion of what to expect when writing a socio economic essay. The first and most important aspect to consider when writing a socio economic essay is the data you will be using in your argument. While this information is obviously very relevant to your topic, many times you'll find yourself using the wrong type of data. Take a step back and really think about what it is that you want to communicate through your argument. After all, if you really want to get across your points, you'll need to research and evaluate different opinions. The next thing to consider when writing a socio economic essay is the form and style of presentation you are going to choose. There are four forms of essay writing, as you may already know: Informational, Argumentative, Circular, and Emotional.Informational Essay: This is the general category that includes most pub lic speaking, business presentations, and many other types of written presentations. You can make this essay more interesting by presenting facts from your topic, either with direct facts or with illustrations. For example, in an argumentative essay, you might try to argue for one side of a point by using a historical example or a 'fact,' but you also need to communicate how you feel about the subject matter, not just why it's important. The majority of Informational essays are quite general in nature, and this kind of essay writing can be quite easy to read and a bit dry.Argumentative Essay: This is a fairly unique essay topic because it is mostly composed of argument and argumentative language. An argumentative essay will usually have some sort of reason for the argument, and it usually ends with a conclusion. Arguments will usually discuss both sides of a topic. It is usually impossible to summarize the entire argument in a single essay, so an argumentative essay often covers a l arge number of topics in a very short amount of time. You might find that this essay category is the most entertaining, since you can really go on a very personal tangent.Circular Essay: Also known as 'obvious' essays, circular essays are those that present a matter of fact, or facts, but in a circular manner. The argument is generally not too complicated, and there will almost always be several arguments supporting a single statement. These types of essays are often used by the newspaper, but they are also very popular in college classrooms. As you can probably tell, there are a wide variety of topics that can be covered in a circular essay. Examples include statistics, religion, politics, education, and even romance.Emotional Essay: This is basically like an argumentative essay except it focuses on the emotions involved in a topic. Emotional essays often have no direct fact, instead making use of anecdotes and other types of literature. While this is a very emotional essay format, you should keep in mind that you should not simply follow the personal opinion of your essay. You must make sure that you are fully assessing your audience, and what their emotions are in the topic you're writing about. This is something that you will learn more about in college.
